This manager ensures smooth electronic communication with trading partners, manages the integration of EDI solutions across internal teams, leads a team of analysts and support staff, and drives continuous improvement in data interchange capabilities while serving as a liaison between IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and external partners.Primary Responsibilities IncludeStrategy & LeadershipLead the development and execution of the organization’s EDI strategy.Manage a team of EDI analysts and support personnel.Function as a liaison between internal teams (IT, Sales, Operations, Finance) and external trading partners.EDI Operations & SupportMaintain, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI systems, transactions, and communications.Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of EDI data exchanges (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, ASNs).Set up and manage EDI trading partner relationships, including onboarding and testing.Technical ManagementDesign, configure, and support EDI mappings and workflows using tools such as Sterling B2B Integrator, Cleo Integration, etc.Collaborate with Applications Manager and any required third-party software vendors to support integration efforts.Monitor system performance and implement optimizations or upgrades as needed.Compliance & DocumentationEnsure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and company policies.Maintain detailed documentation for all EDI processes, mappings, and trading partner requirements.Stay current with EDI trends, standards, and best practices.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.Education And ExperienceEducation: bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Experience:5+ years of direct EDI experience, including implementation and support.2+ years in a leadership or management role preferred.Proven experience with EDI tools (e.g., Gentran, Cleo, IBM Sterling, Seeburger, etc.) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.).Skills:Strong understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML).Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.Effective communication and people skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Additional Preferred QualificationsExperience in the food/beverage industryExperience in Manufacturing or Production EnvironmentProven organizational skills.Ability to direct, coach and train others.Consultative, influential, strategic thinking and critical thinking skills.Physical Requirements & Working ConditionsThis position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting, driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.FREQUENT: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.OCCASIONAL: squatting, kneeling, reaching above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing up to fifty pounds from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to fifty feet.VISION: Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction.HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
