We are currently seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Avante Team

Avante at Leesburg, a Skilled Nursing Facility, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of long-term care professionals. This is a vital role in a facility with a positive community reputation, a history of successful outcomes, and an experienced cohesive team. This is a skilled nursing facility, with an In-house therapy department.

Description: Provides Physical Therapy services to patients by assisting in the assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. br>
Responsibilities Include:

• Provides Physical Therapy services to residents under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in accordance with state regulations.

• Assists in the selection of Physical Therapy techniques/media and in the sequence of activities, adapts techniques/media as indicated by resident performance and following consultation with the Physical Therapist. br>
• Maintains acceptable resident care ratios as determined by the Physical Therapist.

• Consistently demonstrates sound judgment in the evaluation, planning, implementation and follow-up of resident therapy programs.

• Assists with and participates in Continuous Quality Improvement program as required.

Education and Experience:

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
