NOTE: Amazon works with a high volume of applicants, so we appreciate your patience as we review applications.Key job responsibilitiesWork closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to understand and define project requirements.Designing and developing highly reliable, scalable, and distributed systems.Delivering quality features on-time and execution against project plans and delivery commitments.Working with team members to manage the day-to-day development activities, participate in designs, design review, code review, implementation, and operational excellence.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner..Stay up to date with industry trends and integrate best practices into development workflowsBasic Qualifications3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languagePreferred Qualifications3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalentOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
