Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $40/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Must be ok with overtime and weekends

What’s a typical day as a Limited Maintenance Electrician? You’ll be:
• Installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery and equipment following electrical code, manuals, specifications, schematics, and blueprints.
• Installing and repairing control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels, etc.
• Diagnosing and resolving problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment using testing instruments and equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance on variable frequency drives (VFD’s), motors, pumps, generators, etc.
• Collaborating with building principals and supervisors to complete projects.
• Responding to emergency calls as needed.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a valid Oregon LME certification (5-year minimum).
• Hold a valid Oregon driver’s license.
• Have knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and operating principles of motors.
• Are familiar with local electrical codes.
• Can read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material.
• Have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Are proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Have experience with PLC systems (preferred).
• Are able to perform mathematical calculations.
