Position Overview:

Working in this setting includes assisting the Registered Nurse and the Center's physicians in providing medical services to youths detained at Woodfield Detention Center in a manner consistent with the Center's policies and procedures and OCFS standards.

The LPN reports to the Center's RN and physicians on all medical matters and to the Director on all programmatic issues and administrative matters.

Position Qualifications:

Graduate of Accredited School of Licensed Practical Nursing and licensed in New York. Valid NYS Drivers License in good standing. Ability to work with children. Effective communication skills. Mature, calm and flexible. CPR Certified preferred. First Aid Certified preferred. Minimum of 1-year experience as LPN. Pediatric, psychiatric emergency or residential treatment experience preferred.
