Picus Security is looking for an exceptional Director, Solutions Architecture to lead and scale our US Solutions Architecture team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving technical excellence and revenue growth across our most strategic accounts. As Director, Solutions Architecture, you’ll be instrumental in shaping how Enterprise businesses validate and strengthen their security posture. You’ll build a team of Solutions Architect’s that don’t just demonstrate technology – they transform how customers think about security effectiveness. What You’ll Do Build and Lead a High-Performing Team Recruit, develop, and mentor a world-class sales engineering organization Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement Provide strategic guidance and hands-on coaching to accelerate team performance Drive Technical Sales Strategy Own the end-to-end technical sales motion, from initial discovery through close Partner closely with sales leadership to craft winning strategies for key segments and accounts Serve as executive sponsor for strategic customers and partners, building trusted advisor relationships Scale and Optimize Refine and standardize sales engineering processes to drive consistency and efficiency as we grow Develop frameworks and methodologies that enable the team to demonstrate clear business value Establish metrics and best practices that elevate our technical sales effectiveness Lead from the Front Represent Picus Security at industry events, executive briefings, and customer forums Position our solutions as mission-critical to customers’ long-term security and business objectives Act as a technical thought leader both internally and within the cybersecurity community What You Have Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) 10+ years in technical, customer-facing roles with progressive responsibility 5+ years leading technical teams, including experience managing managers Willingness to travel up to 40% to support your team and engage with customers Preferred Industry certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, PCSNA, CISSP, or CCSP Proven track record of engaging directly with C-level executives to drive technical wins Deep expertise navigating complex enterprise sales cycles Exceptional ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling business value narratives Experience in the cybersecurity or security validation space Working at Picus Fascinating work – a chance to shape and lead an exciting, fast-growing cyber security segment.
