The individual in this Assistant Professor of Practice position will have an important role in preparing special education students with the capacity to implement anti‑racist and anti‑oppressive practices that drive social change for equity and inclusion. BIPOC educators and/or multiply‑minoritized people are strongly encouraged to apply. This position requires an individual who is a certified BCBA or BCBA‑D. Responsibilities Serve as the BACB Program Coordinator for the fully online Applied Behavior Analysis/Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) program. Teach online courses in the ABA Program and other related courses. Conduct review of each student’s coursework to submit an attestation to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Serve as Cohort Leader for the BCBA program. Participate fully as a collaborative teacher and leader in the department, college, and university. Required Qualifications (Minimum) Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related field. Board Certified Behavior Analyst. BCBA or BCBA‑D Certification. Successful completion of a criminal background check. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and/or experience teaching online. Knowledge of the updated BABC requirements for BCBA certification. Compensation and Benefits Starting annual salary: $74,016. The starting salary may be negotiable above this rate, depending on the chosen candidate’s knowledge, experience, skills, and abilities, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR.
