IL Housekeeper, MKV

Maple Knoll Village, a continuing care retirement community located in Springdale, OH is looking for fulltime day shift Housekeepers to add to our team orientated housekeeping department

The position will require you to work Monday- Friday from 730a-330p. NO weekends or holidays The starting pay for this position is $15.00. Pay is based off prior experience.Some experience is required

Housekeeper: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Clean and disinfect resident apartments/cottages, bathrooms, and common areas such as hallways, dining rooms, and recreational areas.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Provides quality customer service to residents and visitors by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
• Disposes of trash and hazardous waste according to facility policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces such as countertops, sinks, toilets, and showers
• Keeps utility storage rooms in good order by arranging, and stocking supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap dispensers as needed.
• Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills, leaks, etc.
• Assist with laundry services as need, including washing, drying, and folding resident clothing and linen.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or needed repairs to the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with residents, resident families, and fellow coworkers.
• Must be able to work well as a team and independently.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Benefits: Benefits will begin after 30 days of employment. Fulltime benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off (PTO), 401k with a guaranteed match up to 5%. Company paid life insurance.
