As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the detailed operation of our manufacturing processes, ensuring that we continue to produce life-changing products. The Maintenance Technician undergoes a 6-month initial training period. The training is during the day shift, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. After completing the training, the Technician will be assigned to a day shift working 6:30am - 2:30pm. What You Will Get An agile career and dynamic working culture An inclusive and ethical workplace Competitive compensation programs that recognize high performance Medical, dental, and vision insurance Access to global benefits Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process equipment and facility systems Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance Review and update maintenance procedures and documentation Support audits and regulatory inspections Interpret and work with electrical diagrams and mechanical schematics Collaborate effectively with peers and cross-functional teams Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support Key Requirements High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a technical field preferred Wastewater experience is required Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems Experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment is a plus Willingness to work flexible hours and in varied environments Every day, Lonza's products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
