Prepares food orders accurately and in a timely fashion in a high volume and fast-paced kitchen. Assists with running the kitchen line. Ensures an excellent guest experience and helps ensure the kitchen remains clean, organized, and in compliance with sanitation requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • Keeps work area clean, sanitary, and orderly including the preparation area, serving lines and all equipment
  • Uses clear, concise, and specific lines of communication between management and associates
  • Ensures that all food is received, stored, and prepared according to company standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to perform basic cooking procedures including the ability to read, follow and prepare recipes
  • Understanding of cooking methods, proper techniques, and knife handling skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
  • Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • 1 year or more cooking experience preferred with working knowledge of restaurant equipment
  • Must be friendly and willing to work in a team environment
