Job Title: Animal Shelter Technician

Location: Frisco, CO

Starting Salary: $24 - $26 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, On Site

Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Position Requirements Ability to handle physically demanding tasks for 10-hour shifts. Capable of routinely lifting 75 pounds. Strong customer service and animal handling skills. Proficiency in computer usage, including Windows and MS Office. Excellent communication skills. Flexible schedule availability. Valid drivers license and clean background check required. Ideal Candidate A team-oriented professional with a strong desire to care for and assist pets in finding homes. Responsibilities Include Cleaning and sanitizing animal holding areas and shelter facility. Providing food, care, and medication to animals. Conducting behavioral assessments and training for adoptable animals. Offering customer service to shelter visitors. Performing animal euthanasia and cremations when necessary. Demonstrating a positive demeanor and supporting the mission of Animal Control. Collaborating closely with shelter staff and volunteers. Qualifications Required: High school diploma. Computer proficiency with Windows and MS Office (including Power Point). Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with the public. Prior experience handling animals. Successful completion of a criminal background check. Possession of a valid Colorado Drivers License and knowledge of safe vehicle operation. Completion of Sheriffs Office Civilian Application for candidates proceeding in the hiring process.
