This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to efficiently manage and process a high volume of invoices in a fast-paced environment.   Key Responsibilities Accurately code, process, and verify large volumes of invoices to ensure proper posting of expenses within deadlines. Maintain a high level of accuracy while reviewing invoices, payment terms, and supporting documentation. Build a strong understanding around Colorado cost reporting requirements and how that ties in with expense coding Communicate directly with vendors to resolve discrepancies, set up payments, and onboard them into the accounts payable system. Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure timely follow-up on emails, requests, and payment issues. Generate and analyze reports to monitor compliance with company policies and identify areas for process improvement. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances promptly. Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and reports as needed. Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9 forms and assist with 1099 issuance. Work closely with our skilled nursing team to ensure accurate postings for cost reporting audits Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or coursework in accounting preferred. 1–2 years of accounts payable or accounting experience preferred (experience with high-volume processing a plus). Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with accounting systems and procurement platforms. Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with proven capability to handle multiple priorities. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Customer service-oriented approach with the ability to build strong vendor and internal relationships. Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative on projects.
