THE YOON LAW FIRM, PLLC is dedicated to helping clients navigate some of the most pivotal moments in their lives. We specialize in estate and tax planning, cross‑border estate and tax planning, business law, contract law, and civil litigation. Our firm is growing and we are seeking an experienced, highly capable attorney to join our team. Role Description This is a full‑time Associate Attorney role based on‑site in the Greater Seattle Area. The Associate Attorney will handle client consultations, craft legal strategies, draft and review contracts, and prepare legal documents. Daily tasks include legal research, representing clients in negotiations, and assisting in courtroom litigation as required. Active communication with clients and collaboration with the legal team are essential for delivering superior client service. Core Responsibilities Legal expertise – drafting contracts, preparing legal documents, conducting research Client‑management skills – consultation, communication, and case strategy development Litigation skills – negotiation and court representation (motions practice, discovery management, evidentiary hearings, and trial prep) Attention to detail, organization, and time management Team collaboration – working cooperatively in a team environment and providing tailored legal solutions Minimum Qualifications Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) Professional proficiency in Korean (reading, writing, client‑facing communication) 2+ years of post‑bar experience (outstanding candidates outside this range may be considered) Demonstrated excellence in written advocacy and record‑ready filings (briefs, motions, declarations) Preferred/Bonus Qualifications California Bar admission (active or eligible for swift activation) Federal practice experience, including U.S. District Court for the Eastern/Western Districts of Washington (EDWA/WDWA) Familiarity with immigration, business law, or estate planning is beneficial Comfort working with Korean‑speaking clients and cross‑border fact patterns What We Offer Impactful, first‑chair opportunities on sophisticated matters Collegial, high‑standards team with real mentorship and autonomy Competitive compensation with performance incentives and benefits commensurate with experience Flexible/hybrid work arrangements; modern tooling and strong litigation support How to Apply Please email info@theyoonlaw.com with your application.
