Homecare/School Nurse

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our school nursing team in Denver. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on the lives of children by providing essential healthcare services in a school setting. This is a 1 on 1 position where you will be providing home health care for a child while they attend school.

Meaningful Work: Contribute to the well-being of children and support their academic success.

+ Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate student care.

+ Monitor and document treatment effectiveness.

+ Coordinate services between the school, health agencies, and community resources.

+ Communicate with school district personnel, parents, and physicians regarding student's plan of care.

+ Collaborate with school staff and health agencies to address student's health needs.

+ Adhere to Maxim Healthcare and school district policies.

+ Support professional practice by adhering to nursing standards and regulations.

+ Standards of Nursing Practice

+ Standards of Patient Care

+ Maxim Healthcare and school district policies

+ Participate in student care conferences and IEPs.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

+ Current health certificate.

+ Adheres to federal, state, and local requirements.

+ Successful completion of new hire training.

+ Computer proficiency.

+ Must be at least 18 years old.
