Field Services Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and preventive maintenance of our state-of-the-art medical laboratory analyzers. This role requires hands-on expertise in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting, as you will be working with automated robotic systems in clinical and laboratory settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on medical laboratory analyzers (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, and more).
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and trust.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues by collaborating with the Field Support Group.
- Manage your vehicle inventory, including tools, parts, and other essential equipment.
- Provide on-site training to customers on the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
- Conduct periodic overnight travel to support client locations within the Greater Seattle area as needed.
Qualifications:
- Required: Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics, electro-mechanics, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical role, ideally within the medical device or medical instrumentation industry.
- Previous experience servicing medical laboratory analyzers or other diagnostic equipment is a plus.
- Ability to travel overnight for customer support as needed.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per company policy.
