Principal Purpose of Position Comprehensive understanding and analysis of the National Pre-Owned Industry/Market (e.g.; market performance, opportunities and projections). Continuously analyze region performance and identify opportunities/gaps. Communicate and update the National Pre-Owned Strategy progress across regions in the portfolio. Collaborate with National Inventory Team and Inventory Team Leadership Group. Perform market/performance analytics to inform and influence strategy or key business decisions. Project manage and monitor execution of aspects of the National Pre-Owned Strategy and regional implementation. Provide analytical support, thought partnership, and project management structure. Recruit and develop future leaders. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Work with Inventory team to help problem solve. Provide daily leadership to pricing analysts and acquisition specialists; delegate tasks as needed. Using advanced statistical methods, identify strategic opportunities and communicate financial/process trade-offs. Participate in and provide financial guidance in project and functional meetings. Work with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for projects and financial analysis. Support Inventory Optimization Team by creating and maintaining complex financial models for analysis and guidance. National footprint support with occasional travel across the country. Assist in preparation of business cases and presentations for internal/external reviews, including presentations to Operations and Executive Leadership Teams. Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as assigned. Education and/or Training Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a financial, business or economic discipline and/or 5-8 years of finance experience or equivalent. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Relevant Work Experience 4-6 years of experience. Prior experience with automotive retail and/or fleet management and strategic analysis is preferred.
