Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Developer to join our eCommerce development team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing new features to enhance our global B2B eCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading development efforts, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and adhering to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new features for a global eCommerce platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and user-centric functionality.
Create conceptual and detailed technical design documents.
Provide accurate, detailed work estimates and breakdown schedules to assist in project planning.
Develop, document, and execute unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
Define, establish, and enforce development standards and best practices.
Lead and participate in code review sessions, offering feedback and guidance as needed.
Collaborate with other IT departments to support cross-functional requirements.
Provide 3rd-level support for production issues, diagnosing and troubleshooting as necessary.
Ensure consistent and reliable attendance at the assigned location.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience with Web and UI development, specifically using HTML, JavaScript, React, and CSS.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a distributed application environment.
At least 1 year of experience as a development lead on major projects.
Proficient in Java, EJB, JMS, JSP, and web service technologies (SOAP, XML).
Experience working with at least one major database, such as DB2, MS SQL, or Oracle.
Strong understanding of object-oriented concepts and UML application experience.
Proven experience leading a project through the complete SDLC.
Exposure to IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS) is a plus.
