SUMMARY

The Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the operations team of our fast-paced startup environment. This individual manages inbound and outbound shipments, coordinates deliveries, and ensures efficient warehouse operations. Additionally, the Operations Coordinator provides support to other teams, including sales, and contributes to various projects aimed at optimizing supply chain processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Shipping and Logistics Coordination:

o  Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling deliveries and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely delivery of USA Sales Orders.

o  Finds carriers for inbound orders and coordinates shipping within specified time frames.

o  Assists with freight forwarding logistics and coordinate returns and samples logistics.

·        Inventory Management:

o  Monitors warehouse operations to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.

o  Conducts monthly inventory reviews of third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

·        Supply Chain Support:

o  Transmits orders to International Goods Distribution (IGD) and export (EXP) teams.

o  Assists with developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routing each customer to streamline operations.

o  Reviews and manages open orders to ensure timely processing and fulfillment.

·        Projects:

o  Collaborates on projects such as updating the Harmonized Tariff Schedule in SAP to ensure compliance with import/export regulations.

o  Serves as a backup for team members as needed.

·        Additional Responsibilities:

o  Must possess bilingual proficiency to effectively communicate with internal teams and external partners.

o  Builds reports and analyzes data to support decision-making processes within the supply chain.

o  Demonstrates negotiation skills when coordinating with carriers and other vendors.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

·        1+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain management.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with SAP or other ERP systems.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

·        Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

·        Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·        Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
