Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday)
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that manufactured parts and components meet established quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and using precision measuring tools to verify product compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience in quality assurance, and a background in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of machined parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
- Maintain inspection records and complete quality documentation (FAI, non-conformance reports).
- Conduct process audits and collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a quality technician or inspector in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
- Proficient with precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
