Social Media Account Manager (Sports/Athletes Focused)Get Engaged Media is seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Account Manager (Sports/Athlete-focused) to manage digital and social platforms for its Entertainment Social department. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of social media content strategies, including managing content, driving fan engagement, overseeing communication management and copywriting for high-profile athletes across various sports. This position requires a forward-thinking approach to social media planning, working closely with athletes, their management teams, and brand partners to deliver innovative and engaging content to grow their social presence. Responsibilities:Knowledge of the following social and digital media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, LinkedInSprout Social, Mailchimp, Monday.com, Canva, DSPs (Is a Plus)Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content timeline and strategy tailored to each clients brand and goalsRemain updated on social trends, platforms changes, and best practices to ensure clients are maximizing engagementProvide innovative content ideas, leveraging creative formats like short-form videos, behind the scenes content, and educational videos to captivate audiencesCoordinate with creative and production team to produce video content ensuring it aligns with each clients brandBuild an online community by actively engaging with fan bases across all platformsAnalyze metrics for social content, providing regular insights and reports to client teamsOwnership of projects while collaborating with the Entertainment Social TeamManage timeline communication with clients to ensure their goals are being metOversee large-scale brand deals, ensuring seamless integration into social channelsAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays determined by client needs and activationsSkills:Proven experience managing social media accounts, preferably within the Sports and Entertainment IndustryStrong understanding of social media platforms and platform-specific strategiesExcellent copywriting skillsFamiliarity with social media analytics toolsAbility to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, balancing multiple prioritiesStrong organizational skillsSharp attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistencyHighly skilled in interpersonal skills and managing various personalitiesAbility to present to clients and large teams
