This is an opportunity for an individual to step up to a Director, New Business development Drug Product role and join a leader in the growing CDMO industry. Expect to grow here This role is available across the US East Coast, with the flexibility to choose any location within this region Your Role: New Business • The target customers include emerging, mid-size and large Pharma companies possessing mid/late-stage clinical development projects and commercial products for sterile and oral solid formulations • Take ownership of new customer /contact prospecting within the US East Coast, presenting Siegfried’s worldwide technical capabilities with a focus on drug product, while also highlighting Siegfried's drug substance offerings • Formulate and implement New Business Development (NBD) strategies based on market research and industry insights • Engage in Siegfried social marketing activities to raise awareness of company offerings & planned events • Support client visits to the various sites within Siegfried's global manufacturing network. Stakeholder Management • Orchestrate mutual efforts with our global and local departments to grow our business. Plan and align with our customers on their requirements, forecasts and firm orders to help ensure the seamless execution of their new business within our global network • Work with technical teams to evaluate and assess new projects enabling the preparation & submission of written proposals. • Develop contracts with new customers (in conjunction with Siegfried departments involved) and remain responsible for their monitoring and compliance.**Your Profile:****Your Profile:***Knowledge and experience** Minimum of 10 years of sales experience of oral and sterile contract development and Contract Manufacturing services is a must have criteria. A strong understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is what we are looking for* Any further knowledge of the CDMO or drug product services pharmaceutical industry (Business Development, Sales, R&D, production, project management) will give you an edge* BSc / MSc / PhD degree in pharmacy or chemistry / natural sciences / chemical engineering / and / or MBA are not required, but viewed favorably*Soft Skills** The most important requirement is to be driven and possess an entrepreneurial mindset.
