What’s a typical day as a Structural Mechanic I? You’ll be:
  • Performing assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures.
  • Conducting drilling and riveting operations to ensure parts meet requirements.
  • Reading and interpreting work orders, blueprints, and operation sheets.
  • Checking all work for quality and accuracy before final inspection.
  • Maintaining a neat and orderly work area and complying with safety regulations.
  • Supporting Lean Activities and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Have at least 1 year of related structural assembly experience.
  • Have experience working with Solumina and Smarteam.
  • Have the ability to read and interpret basic blueprints.
  • Are able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet demanding schedules.
