Director, Operations – Industrial Services Join to apply for the Director, Operations – Industrial Services role at Patriot Environmental Services. What We Do As a premier provider of environmental services in the Western United States, Patriot Environmental Services (formerly known as Crystal Clean) delivers industrial, emergency response, and remediation services. Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of Industrial Services for the area of responsibility, focusing on health & safety, waste compliance, and DOT compliance. Supports business development, collaborates with sales, and leads large proposal preparation and final pricing for presentation to executive management. Works with the executive leadership team to set the strategic direction and growth plan for the area. Maintains client relationships, monitors account growth, and resolves customer issues. Conducts ongoing project reviews to ensure projects remain on time and within budget, and manages change order procedures. Manages performance of team members, including hiring and termination. Advocates a safety culture, ensuring programs are implemented and leads safety meetings. Supports pricing discipline, invoicing, and collection efforts to meet cash flow objectives. Performs other reasonable duties as assigned. Qualifications College degree preferred; professional certifications (PG, PE, CHMM, etc.) or MBA preferred. 15+ years of operations and sales experience. 10+ years in hazardous waste management. Knowledge of federal, state, and local hazardous waste and safety regulations. Leadership experience in environmental remediation or hazardous waste with P&L management. Experience leading safety programs in a safety‑oriented environment. Skills & Competencies Ability to work independently and diligently. Strong business acumen. Exemplary customer service skills. Drive for results. Physical Demands & Environmental Conditions Primarily works in an office environment. Occasionally exposed to all environmental temperatures and weather conditions when visiting locations. Benefits PTO, paid holidays, sick time. Medical, dental, vision, life insurance. 401(k) with company matching. Compensation $145,000 - $170,000 annual salary (subject to qualifications and experience).
