The specialist ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in handling departmental data, communications, and projects. Job Responsibilities Maintain and manage complex records and files Respond to inquiries requiring specialized departmental knowledge Collect, compile, and analyze data for reports and special projects Create and update reports, graphs, and data comparisons Review and verify accuracy of information and documents Prepare and balance data; perform routine math calculations Coordinate special programs and events Process departmental documents and post records Prepare correspondence and specialized forms Train new employees and monitor work of junior staff Provide input on performance reviews and participate in hiring processes Implement approved policy and procedural changes Act as liaison between units and provide guidance to staff Perform other duties as assigned.
