Business Intelligence Analyst, Facilities Technology

Overview The Facilities Technology team at Rivian designs and maintains analytics and systems that empower the facilities organization to plan, build, and operate our manufacturing and workstation projects. As a Business Intelligence Analyst based in Greater Atlanta, you will transform complex construction and manufacturing data into clear dashboards, reports, and models that support our high‑complexity industrial projects. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and interactive dashboards and reports using Hex or similar BI tools. Use Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) within Hex to perform data analysis, cleaning, and scripting. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver BI solutions. Connect to, query, and integrate data from the Data Warehouse and key construction management platforms (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Kahua), ERPs, and internal data warehouses such as Databricks. Develop an understanding of facilities data schemas to model and analyze metrics related to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and asset lifecycle. Conduct ad‑hoc data analysis and present findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Contribute to data governance and process standardization, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and traceability across systems. Support and train end‑users to utilize BI tools and reports for self‑service analytics. Qualifications 3‑5+ years of experience in BI, Data Analysis, or a related role. Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis within notebook environments (Jupyter, Hex, etc.). Hands‑on experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent. Proficiency in SQL for extraction, transformation, and complex queries. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Preferred: Experience with construction‑management platforms (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Kahua), the Hex analytics platform, data models, APIs, and reporting modules. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
