We are seeking a Multi-Modal CT/X-Ray Technician to join our imaging team near Newport, WA. The ideal candidate will operate imaging equipment, including c-arm and portable X-ray units, ensuring patient safety protocols and participating in performance improvement activities. This role involves performing a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed radiation for diagnostic purposes.

Minimum Requirements for the Multi-Modality Imaging CT/X-ray Tech

ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT)
Radiology and Computed Tomography Experience
DEXA and C-Arm Experience
BLS Certified

Job Responsibilities for the Multi-Modality Imaging CT/X-ray Tech

Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient, including pediatric, geriatric and general population.
Responsible for safe handling of equipment; performs a pre-procedure check on all equipment; provides preventive maintenance.
Instructs and prepares patients for radiation therapy procedures.
Determines most suitable anatomical posture and positions and shields patients accordingly.
Reviews prescribed dosage of ionizing radiation for accuracy before all treatments
Practices medical and surgical asepsis at all times.
Observes patient reaction to radiation therapy; reports any patient changes to the radiologist.
Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure - makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
