The department offers a BA in Applied Linguistics, a post‑baccalaureate Certificate in TESL, and an MA in TESOL with a teaching track and an applied linguistics track. Courses include a wide range of topics in formal linguistics, applied linguistics, second language education, and cultural connections of language.The Department of Applied Linguistics is seeking part‑time Adjunct Instructors with the ability to teach lower and upper‑division undergraduate courses and Master’s level courses during the academic year to meet curricular needs.
