Role Summary We are seeking a highly strategic, collaborative, and execution-driven Chief of Staff to serve as a trusted partner to the Founder & CEO. This role carries significant responsibility from day one, with an expectation to operate with gravitas, ownership, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The Chief of Staff will run company meetings, drive alignment on priorities, and ensure strategic initiatives are executed with precision. They will oversee cross‑functional projects, partner with Finance on modeling and planning, ensure standard operating procedures, particularly in sales, the backbone of the business, are consistently followed, and act as a problem‑solver and diagnostic partner to the CEO by researching deeply, framing complex issues, and driving solutions. This is a senior role that demands judgment, presence, and the ability to command trust quickly across the organization. The Chief of Staff will also be a steward of company culture — ensuring every team member is effectively onboarded, aligned with our values, and contributing positively. When cultural conflicts arise, they will be identified and addressed directly to preserve performance and integrity. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Alignment Run company meetings: set agendas, prepare materials, drive decision‑making, capture actions, and ensure accountability. Translate the Founder & CEO’s vision into clear, actionable plans across departments. Serve as a thought partner and advisor, offering insights and recommendations that support leadership decisions. Strategic Projects & Initiatives Lead high‑impact projects and cross‑functional initiatives from concept to execution. Conduct deep research, analysis, and issue framing to diagnose problems and design solutions. Partner with Finance on modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning to provide leadership with clear decision‑making insights. Ensure projects are delivered on time and at the highest standard. Operational Excellence Ensure company SOPs are consistently followed, with particular attention to sales. Identify gaps or inconsistencies in process and work with teams to reinforce accountability. Partner with Finance, Production, and other functions to support operational rigor and organizational excellence. Lead system improvements and automation initiatives to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness. Implement training programs that strengthen skills and improve performance. Culture & Brand Representation Uphold and champion the Society Awards culture, ensuring consistent onboarding and cultural alignment across the company. Address and resolve cultural conflicts that undermine performance or values. Represent the Society Awards brand with credibility, professionalism, and luxury standards in all internal and external settings. Qualifications 4–8 years of experience in consulting, operations, project management, or a Chief of Staff–like role with proven cross‑functional leadership. Experience working in entrepreneurial or startup environments is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of process‑driven organizations; ability to enforce SOPs and maintain operational discipline. Financial acumen with experience in modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple high‑priority initiatives simultaneously. Exceptional communication, executive writing, and meeting facilitation skills. Highly proficient in technology: CRMs, Microsoft Office Suite, and workplace productivity tools (including AI). Experience in luxury, premium brand, or high‑touch B2B environments strongly preferred; must be able to live and represent the Society Awards brand. Must live in or be willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC.
