Overview Join our team as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where you will be part of a dynamic engineering team. You will be working on the design of machine tools and the automation that accompanies them through a large cross section of industries. As a growing company with many different markets there is a lot of room for design creativity as well as the satisfaction of seeing projects through to implementation What you’ll do Design and develop mechanical systems using SolidWorks as well as a large selection of 3D printers to test prototypes Conduct testing of designs to troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions. Engage with customers directly to collaborate with them in the design of their project i Implement programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in system design for automation solutions. Robotics are a large part of our automation solutions. Fanuc as well as Universal. a solid understanding of those platforms is helpful. Work with CNC machining processes to bring designs from concept to reality. Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles with a focus on mechanical design. Proficiency in drafting and creating detailed technical drawings. Familiarity with machine tools and or automation Preferred qualifications Experience with Pneumatics, PLC's, Robotics, and other automation motion is helpful. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices related to mechanical design. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
