Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Operations Manager at Minot Builders Supply located in Great Falls, MT. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, coordinating logistics, and ensuring operational efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for proper allocation of resources, warehouse, shop, and transportation to ensure timely, accurate and safe delivery of product to customer.
  • Oversee Warehouse and Shop Managers, help insure all employees are properly trained and abide by company procedures in daily activity.
  • Ensure general maintenance of facility and all equipment, including transportation equipment.
  • Monitor customer feedback and promptly address any operational issues to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining and enhancing operational processes.
  • Implement new procedures and initiatives of company improvement process.
  • Overall management of the facility and employees.
  • Work with Regional Sales Managers, other Minot Builders Supply Branch Managers, President and Vice Presidents on overall direction of Minot Builders Supply.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience in operations management or related field
  • 3 years minimum of management experience and construction related industry experience
  • Knowledge of transportation and logistics
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and applications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
