Kelly is seeking a Production Scheduler to work with our client in the medical manufacturing industry on a direct hire basis, starting ASAP This is an excellent opportunity to join an organization that is embarking on an exiting phase of new product development, growth, and innovation

The Production Scheduler will:
  • Own long-term build (supply) plan (target 12 months rolling) to meet financial objectives and fill customer orders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with co-manufacturers, ensuring weekly meetings to discuss priorities and shipment status
  • Own & re-vamp weekly cross functional supply chain meeting to track prior week progress and develop action plans to ensure KPIs are met
  • Fully understand operation of all manufacturing processes to be able to propose schedule changes to production team
  • Provide back in stock dates for all items, ensuring that Customer Experience team has details needed to communicate to Sales team
  • Back up Buyer position, be able to issue POs, communicate with suppliers and maintain weekly MRP pull
  • Develop forecasting tool/process in conjunction with Sr. Manager as part of S&OP re-development
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant production scheduling experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment (or high school diploma and 10+ years of experience)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with new item launches would be a plus
  • Effective written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills
  • Flexible to change and possess a high degree of integrity and a “can do attitude”
  • Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals
  • Strong customer service orientation, acting with urgency and exhibiting keen attention to detail
  • Able to convert units of measurement (add, subtract multiply and divide)
  • Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner
