Position: Surveillance Analyst

Location: Philadelphia (Local)


Position Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and results-oriented surveillance analyst with a strong background in finance, trade support, operations, and audit within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate has over four years of experience in trade execution and transaction reconciliation and provides operational support to institutional and retail trading desks.


Key Responsibilities

Trade Monitoring: Oversee and manage trade execution flows, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.

Transaction Reconciliation: Perform detailed reconciliations for complex transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

Operational Support: Provide operational support to trading desks, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports to drive decision-making and business success.

Tool Utilization: Utilize advanced financial tools (Bloomberg, Aladdin, Thompson, DTCC, FICC, Appix) to optimize operational efficiency and ensure accurate data management.


Key Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years in finance, specifically in trade support, operations, or audit.

Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Bloomberg, Aladdin, Thompson, DTCC, FICC, and Appix.

Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail, with proven ability to handle complex trade flows and reconciliations.

Collaboration Skills: Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly in high-pressure environments.

Analytical Abilities: Adept at delivering insightful financial reports that support business goals.
