Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm for training
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 1pm to 9pm

What’s a typical day as a Transportation Planning Coordinator? You’ll be:
  • Arriving on time for your shift and attending department meetings.
  • Optimizing and coordinating orders in the most efficient way for customers and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining proper and accurate pre-shipment and post-shipment administration.
  • Creating daily railroad reports and daily LTL reports.
  • Dispatching drivers on loads and assisting with customer and driver needs.
  • Responsible for the movement of inventory, backflushing, and PGI'ing.
  • Printing daily BOL's, SDS, and trailer inspection reports.
  • Gathering all HAZ MAT shipping documents for bulk shipments.
  • Ensuring shipping documents are placed in driver lockers and outside carrier mailbox.
  • Tracking and tracing drivers while responding to customer needs and additional special requests.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues.
  • Providing export, LTL, railcar movement, filing, and scanning support.
  • Ensuring correct information is provided to employees and managers of load deliveries.
  • Meeting on-time delivery (OTD) requirements and providing department support as needed.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Hold a degree in transportation or a related field (preferred).
  • Possess highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Have functional knowledge in supply chain and USDOT regulations.
  • Preferably have knowledge of import and export.
  • Excel in interpersonal skills and relationship building.
  • Thrive in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Embrace a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Have software skills such as Excel, Microsoft Office, Teams, PowerPoint, and SAP (highly preferred).
