Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Elyria, OH. This full-time, first-shift position offers the opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing essential assembly equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical and electrical knowledge to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.


Job title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Elyria, OH
Shift: 1st (530 am to 4 pm Monday-Thursday (Friday overtime as needed)
Salary: $17 to $23 an hour based on experience
Description:
Maintenance Technician is responsible for identifying and repairing problems in assembly equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Performs installation and repair of machinery and equipment
  • Generates preventive maintenance schedules and perform P.M. for all equipment
  • Performs building maintenance, and installation of electrical, plumbing, etc.
  • Operates machines and do welding as required to make parts for repairs and installations
  • Inspects, maintains and documents all hazardous materials on premises.
Skills/Qualifications
  • Previous experience working as a Maintenance Tech in a manufacturing company
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Must have your own tools
  • Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • Self-movitivated
  • Basic welding/brazing experience
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a preemployment screening process
