IA/IT Systems Administrator (Cybersecurity Tools)

Requires: TS/SCI Clearance

CompTIA CASP+ Certification or CISSP or equivalent

This position is M-F, 100% on-site at Fort Meade, Md.


Responsibilities:

The candidate will maintain Cyber Security vulnerability scanning and host based security requirements utilizing the following tools: Nessus Security Center and scanners, Nessus Agents, Trellix ESS to include ePO, Policy Auditor, Rogue System Detection, Threat protection, DLP. The successful candidate will also provide information security subject matter expertise and translate security requirements into technical designs and solutions. The candidate should have demonstrated communication and customer relations skills. The candidate will be responsible for creating and assisting with SOPs, policy documentation, and weekly briefs.


Qualifications:

Prior experience working with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) validation / compliance implementation.

Ability to work effectively in a team, communicate well (written and verbal), solve problems, think critically, adapt, be flexible, manage time, and prioritize tasks.

Experience with Trellix (formerly McAfee) ePolicy Orchestrator Host Based Security System (HBSS) Administration.

Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Security Center Vulnerability Scan (Nessus) tools.

Experience Implementing National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and RMF standards and framework.


Additional Requirements:

Experience with Windows and Linux Servers

Must have the following training certificates: DISA HBSS Admin (201) ePO Course; DISA HBSS Advanced (301) ePO Course; DISA HBSS Advanced (501) ePO Course; and DISA ACAS Administrator Course. 


Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline

3 years’ experience as a SA in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity

5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

This position is 100% on-site at Fort Meade, Md.
