Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining, administering, and configuring specialized applications and their components.
  • Assisting in implementing enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system(s).
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and reproducing issues found on incoming 'help tickets' for applications.
  • Provide support for network systems including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and system operations.
  • Assist with the daily administration of a network/server environment.
  • Monitor network performance and perform testing to provide diagnosis of issues and to assist with deployment of solutions.
  • Perform routine updates and maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor Enterprise Network unclassified and classified networks email, voice, and official message traffic.
  • Regional Service Desk (RSD) support to include routine checks of network, ongoing maintenance, and operational support status.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or escalate technical issues.
  • Correlate events and incidents for management of Information Technology (IT) Services.






Requirements

  • 3 years of Customer Services experience in an IT environment or related field
  • Must have an Active DoD Security Clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • IT Ticketing System experience
  • Router/Switch configuration experience
