Located throughout the New Jersey Counties of Passaic, Morris and Sussex, we provide professionally based social services, including Behavioral Health Programs, Veterans Services, Children's Programs, Senior and Aging Services and much more.

Food Pantry Aid

HOURS: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm

LOCATION: Paterson NJ

General Summary:

The individual will help maintain food pantry clean and well organized. As well as oversee management of all food storage areas. Assist with volunteer workers assignment within food pantry areas.

Job Responsibilities

1) Position requires that the individual be able to lift 25 pounds.

2) Strong customer service skills.

3) Excellent organization skills.

4) Must have the ability to work independently and work collaboratively with all staff and volunteers.

5) Make sure that the freezer and refrigerators are clean and stocked.

6) Make sure that in cooperation with volunteers the food pantry is clean and organized.

7) Make sure that in cooperation with volunteers the Food Storage Areas are clean and well organized.

8) Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time to support the effective and efficient operation of Catholic Charities.

9) May be assigned to work in any of the pantry locations, as needed.

10) Assisting Driver in the pick-up of donations.

11) Responsible

Qualifications:

High School/GED

Current Driver's License (not required but preferred)

Speaks Spanish

Adheres to the Federal Alcohol and Drug Policy
