Position Summary The Salesperson at Sundance Yacht Sales in Seattle is responsible for generating leads, selling new and pre-owned boats, and providing an exceptional customer experience from first contact through delivery. This position requires building long-term client relationships, maintaining product knowledge across all brands, and representing Sundance at boat shows and other sales events. Successful salespeople at Sundance have the ability to build a strong book of business and can earn substantial income, with established sales professionals reaching $300,000+ annually. Sales team members at Sundance benefit from direct training and mentorship from the founding family and industry veterans who have been selling and servicing boats in the Pacific Northwest for more than 20 years. This hands‑on training provides new salespeople with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to establish a successful career in yacht sales. Key Responsibilities Generate and follow up on leads through company CRM, walk‑ins, boat shows, factory events, and referrals. Present and demonstrate new and pre‑owned boats to prospective customers. Maintain strong knowledge of product lines, including Jeanneau and other represented brands. Guide customers through the full sales process, from inquiry to closing, including coordination of surveys, sea trials, and delivery. Work with the service team to ensure boats are prepared and delivered according to customer specifications. Build and maintain long‑term client relationships to grow a repeat and referral business base. Accurately enter and maintain customer and sales data in company systems. Represent Sundance professionally at boat shows and promotional events. Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions. Participate in regular sales meetings, training, and development sessions. Qualifications Prior sales experience preferred, ideally in marine, luxury, or high‑value retail industries. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly. Self‑motivated and driven to achieve sales targets. Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Organized, detail‑oriented, and skilled with CRM and sales software. Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required for boat shows, events, and customer appointments. Knowledge of boating and the marine industry is highly desirable.
