ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with new admissions
  • Coordinate order processing
  • Conduct care conferences
  • Work closely with physicians
  • Obtain prescriptions from doctors as needed
  • Assess residents per request
  • Hire and train staff related to treatments needed by residents and medication pass
  • Monitor monthly vital sheets and make recommendations to tenants regarding overall health
  • Communicate to Director what follow-up will be needed over the week
  • Creating important policies and procedures for medical staff
  • Budgeting and creating financial reports for executives
  • Setting performance goals for nurses and other employees
  • Conducting performance evaluations for nurses and other team members
  • Ensuring the department is keeping accurate patient records
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Valid WI RN License
  • Previous long term care experience
  • Detail Oriented
