Job Title: Skilled Nursing LPN Charge Nurse Job Specialty: Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:00 pm - 6:30 am, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Prior work experience in a similar or related position may be helpful License: Licensure for state of practice is required Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Job Description: - Assist with formulating a plan of care for residents according to individualized resident care plans and physician orders.- Provide nursing care to residents and update care plans as needed.- Observe and document resident conditions and care provided; accurately use the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.- Ensure that physicians are notified, and orders are processed promptly.- Respond promptly to resident call lights and communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.- Handle linens and dispose of soiled linens, clothing, and supplies according to regulations and guidelines, adhering to standard precautions and using personal protective equipment.- Report and follow up on signs and symptoms of resident infections.- Comply with all related laws, regulations, company policies, and corporate compliance requirements.- May involve other duties, responsibilities, and activities that can change at any time without notice.- The work environment typically has a moderate noise level, and moving or lifting of up to 35 lbs may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
