Job Description
Job Title: Skilled Nursing LPN Charge Nurse

Job Specialty: Nursing

Job Duration: 8-12 weeks

Shift: Monday through Thursday, NOC shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week

Experience: Prior work experience in a similar or related position is helpful

License: Active MN license required

Certifications: BLS from American Heart Association

Must-Have:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Job Description:

- Formulate and update care plans for residents as needed.
- Provide nursing care to residents following physician orders and regulations.
- Document observations and care provided using EMR accurately.
- Notify physicians of changes and process orders accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights.
- Educate residents, families, or significant others.
- Properly handle and dispose of linens and supplies.
- Adhere to standard precautions and infection control guidelines.
- Follow up on signs and symptoms of resident infections in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures relevant to the position.
- Adapt duties and responsibilities as required.

Additional Information:

- Holiday rotation required for New Year's, Memorial Day, and Labor Day.
- Must have active Minnesota State Nursing License.
- Length of assignment is between 8 to 12 weeks.
- The job includes a weight lifting requirement of 35 lbs.
