We have a great opportunity for an experienced Legal Recruiting Manager (Summer & OCI) with our large global law firm client. This role offers a competitive base and excellent growth potential in a top ranked law firm. This is a hybrid role based in New York.

The Manager will support the full life-cycle of law student recruitment-with a particular focus on on-campus recruiting and the summer associate program-and the Director - Legal Recruiting & Training ("Director") in creating, developing, and implementing effective processes and best practices. The candidate will also provide support on special recruiting and associate development projects as needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage on campus and "pre-OCI" recruiting processes at assigned schools, including all campus logistics, communication with candidates and career services offices, offer dinners and follow up activities, etc.
  • Work closely with partner team heads in executing strategy for their school teams, including organizing law school events, overseeing Firm sponsorship of student groups, and driving candidate follow-up and outreach efforts.
  • Organize and execute a world-class summer associate program, including orientation, mentoring, assignments, evaluations, and social events for all summer associates.
  • Work with Marketing & Business Development group to create compelling recruitment marketing materials and other collateral.
  • In collaboration with the Associate Director, work with Managing Partners to oversee and execute the associate advisor program.
  • Manage the Chambers Associate, Vault, and American Lawyer survey processes, including working with the Associate Director and Chief Legal Talent Officer on developing best practices for execution and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts at each publication.
  • Proactively conduct regular market scans and provide market intel to Associate Director and other key stakeholders on recruiting and hiring trends.

Education and/or Experience:
  • B.A. required, along with five or more years of recruiting experience.
