CW-Data Analyst This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. The role involves moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties performed onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity. The anticipated term of this engagement is 23 months, renewable based on business needs. Key Responsibilities & Duties Assist with mathematical, statistical, and economic methods to determine market conditions and inform business initiatives. Identify trends from modeling and inform lines of business such as product development and marketing decisions. Develop data mining models, statistical reporting, and analysis methodologies to identify key customer segments and simulate impact of future business decisions. Create detailed reports and conclusions for business, finance, and investment management based on data summaries. Recognize opportunities and risks through data analysis and modeling and report findings. Provide information for additional research and analysis following statistical methodology. Assist other business areas to model potential outcomes of implementing various strategies. Qualifications University degree preferred. 2+ years of experience required (3+ preferred). Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA, and SQL (preferred). Experience with data mining, statistical modeling, and data quality monitoring. Knowledge of investment accounting systems and security reference data a plus. Investment Banking / Asset Management industry experience in an offshored operations environment. Experience with market data sources, products and tools.
