Position Overview We are urgently hiring a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Urgent Care practice in Soldotna, AK. Seeking a provider motivated to care for patients of all age ranges in an urgent care setting, ideally with 4‑5 years of experience and a background in emergency medicine or urgent care. Our upscale private environment is equipped with the latest quality equipment on‑premises—no need to send out or wait for laboratory results, EKG, or X‑ray imaging. With a focus on professionalism and efficiency, we ensure timely and compassionate care in the beautiful town of Soldotna, AK. Duties / Responsibilities Perform urgent care visits—variety of acute care (sick patients, minor fractures, lacerations, etc.) Conduct patient examinations, review and maintain patient medical histories and records Order and interpret diagnostic tests Formulate diagnosis and treatment plans Prescribe medications as needed Perform minor urgent care procedures (I&D, biopsy, suturing) Provide accurate documentation Refer to specialists as needed (PCP, PT, ER, etc.) Educate and counsel patients and their families Collaborate with the physician and medical staff for comprehensive patient care Requirements Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program PA/NP license in AK Ability to see all patient age ranges (pediatrics to geriatrics) Experience performing urgent care duties—including suturing and related procedures Preferably 4‑5 years’ experience in ER or urgent care Schedule Full‑time or part‑time Salary $65‑$75+/hour, depending on experience Benefits Vacation/Holiday Pay 401k with 3% matching Gym membership CME allowance and CME time off Set on the Kenai Peninsula, Soldotna is paradise for anglers seeking trophy salmon and halibut.
