HBITS-07-14448DOT, Software Architect, Expert 30 month contract Virtual interview Selected candidates are expected to work in NY office 2-3 days per week Day-to-day tasks Act as a Lead Oracle Forms and Reports developer on all assigned projects. Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and tuning Oracle 12C Forms and Reports programs for a high profile OLTP production application. Provide architectural direction on all assigned projects. Ensure that the system architecture integrates hardware, software, data, and procedural system components to satisfy system requirements. Provide overall technical vision of various internal and customer facing software applications. Work with key program area stakeholders to understand the business requirements for new/redesigned systems. Articulate and communicate the architecture and key design patterns within the program areas and IT. Collaborate with the IT and program area leads to translate program area requirements into technology requirements and recommend viable technical options. Defines the migration and implementation strategy. Acts as a Mentor in developing the skills and expertise of other IT developers on the team by performing code reviews and suggesting changes that will best fit the Program and Agency needs. On-call support of production applications is required Software Architect Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system. Expert 84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. 84 months experience designing, architecting, and guiding the implementation of high-end, scalable, robust applications and solutions using Oracle Forms and Reports v10 or higher. 84 months experience developing scripts and testing for an Oracle 9i/10g/11g/12c/19C environment. 84 months experience developing in PL/SQL and SQL*Plus and SQL writing stored procedures, functions, packages and triggers. 84 months experience creating UNIX shell scripts, and programming applications for use with UNIX, NT and PC environments. 60 Months experience performing advanced analytical and technical support of application interfaces and system interconnects. 60 months experience developing with XML & SOAP using SOA and Web Services. 12 months experience with FileNet.
