The Business Development Representative needs to be sharp, focused, and goal oriented with a strong desire to succeed. This is an exciting, constantly evolving, and tech driven industry. Appstar is scaling rapidly and eager to find coachable candidates that can learn and grow with us and achieve our vision for success.We have all the modern-day amenities in our centrally located office from, ongoing ping pong tournaments, electronic hoops setup, kitchens stocked with snacks, company lunches, fun sales events and team bonding. Although Appstar employees like to have fun, we are committed to high performance and dedicated to improving professionally and personally.Day to Day Functions:Relationship building and initiation of sales cycle with business owners in the SMB spaceWorking hand and hand with Solution Specialists to build custom solutions for small business ownersMaking a high volume of outbound calls from in-house generated leadsBuilding a sales pipelineContinued team and individual trainingEncouragement to think outside the box as to how you can generate opportunities through additional technology ex. social media, text, and emailQualifications/Skills:High energy and infectious attitudeAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to meet and exceed sales quotas1-2 years inside sales experience (B2B/ short sales cycle preferred)Compensation and Benefits:Base + Commission+ Contests (OTE $75K-$80K)Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k benefitsPaid VacationPaid HolidaysCasual dress work environmentSupportive, encouraging management team and co-workersConfidence in knowing you are valued as a person and not just a numberNote: These are in-office positions.Appstar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and takes great pride in building a diverse work environment.
