Mainframe Developer Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite) Employment type: Full-time Seniority level: Mid-Senior Level Job function: Information Technology Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and other mainframe technologies. Act as a DBA/Developer with at least 5+ years of hands‑on experience in IMSDB or equivalent systems. Perform software development, implementation, maintenance, and production support across multiple scrum teams. Coordinate and manage release activities, collating DB changes for each release. Provide independent, high‑quality solutions with minimal client supervision. Apply strong problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Experience in Banking/Payments domain is a plus. Qualifications: 5+ years experience with Mainframe technologies: COBOL, DB2, SQL, MQ, CICS, SPUFI, ENDEOR, VSAM, ICETOOL. Hands‑on experience as Mainframe programmer / DB2 or equivalent. Full life‑cycle software development skills: analysis, design, coding and testing. Knowledge of configuration management and release process. Strong communication, collaborative and independent work attitude.
