We offer a 50% match on your first 6% of 401k contribution with opportunity for an employer contribution annually.Position OverviewThe Maintenance Electrician has a focus on electrical and will perform diverse responsibilities to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, Calibration & Preventative Maintenance processes and to ensure equipment in maintained in a validated state. You will provide both service and support to internal customers. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for installation of plant and production equipment, maintaining equipment, troubleshooting/diagnose equipment problems, providing service for unscheduled repairs/maintenance, and help complete equipment qualifications. In our business, it is important you can demonstrate a understanding of the importance of documentation.Basic Background RequirementsYou will need:Two year technical degree or 2+ years of experience within a manufacturing environmentExperience in troubleshooting technical issues (Electrical & Mechanical)Ability to properly size wiresThe ability to work with production associates and other technicians or with great independenceExperience maintaining equipmentExperience with equipment qualificationsExperience in Medical Device manufacturing preferredAbility to wire, troubleshoot and repair 3 phase 480 VAC systems a plusAbility to maintain general knowledge of the certification and regulatory requirements contained in ISO-13485, and FDA CFR/GMP Medical Device RegulationKey Performance ObjectivesShort Term: (0 to 3 months)Learn KEIND Quality system requirementsBuild relationships with Engineering and Operations team membersLearn Calibration & Maintenance ProgramFamiliarize yourself with processes and equipmentSupport operations by maintaining equipment and electrical systemsLearn and adopt Kimball Electronics philosophies and cultureMidterm: (3 to 6 months)Accountable for maintenance activityLearn ERP system basic job tasks (Create reports & work orders)Have understanding of program and systemLong term: (6 to 12 months)Independently managing electrical and maintenance projectsOwn electrical systems improvement projects As a global company, we value a culture of curiosity, diversity of thought, and innovation from our employees, customers, and partners.
