Explore some of our signature roadway projects here.What You’ll Be Challenged To DoThis is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Senior Water Resources Engineer with a strong civil background, to support planning, design, and construction management activities for a variety of projects.In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:In this role you will be responsible primarily for design and oversight of the work for water resources details related to transportation projects.The successful candidate will provide leadership, direction, organization and guidance to ensure that quality management, design and technical services are provided to clients and that performance targets are met.You will also be responsible for planning, design, and management of water resources-related design projects including storm water management, storm drain, erosion and sediment control, NPDES stormwater retrofits, Low Impact Development, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, stream restoration, county and state permitting, and construction phase services.Education | Experience:What You Will Bring To Our FirmB.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Water Resources Engineering or related field of practice is required. Master’s Degree is a plus.Professional Engineer license in MD is required with the ability to obtain PE in VA and DC with reciprocity.An ideal candidate will have 10-12 years’ experience in civil site design, with direct involvement in stormwater management design, storm drain design, erosion and sediment control, hydrologic modeling, permitting and BMP retrofits.What We Prefer You BringA strong background using Auto CAD and Microstation is requiredDirect experience completing projects with public sector/municipal agencies in the Greater Baltimore/DC Metro areaExperience in watershed water quality assessments, MS4 permitting and/or program development a plusStrong interpersonal skills; good public speaking ability; strong project financial management skills; knowledge of production support systems and personal computer proficiency are all required competencies.Applicant should have experience in managing junior engineers and mentoring them through project designs and progressing their general knowledgeCompensationThe salary range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000.
