Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a food manufacturing client in Springfield, MO seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their team. The Senior Project Engineer will have responsibility for managing a variety of projects - Primarily large, multi-faceted projects ($50k-$20MM) that will require coordination and influence across several business functions (sales, marketing, packaging engineering, materials, quality, operations, maintenance, finance directors, plant managers, and the Director/VP level) stakeholders. The senior engineer will drive engineering standards creation and implementation across the North American facilities. The position will also manage projects ranging from smaller sub process projects with multiple installations, medium projects consisting of multiple process replacements or additions, handling all facets of the project. The role will manage teams of external project managers and project engineers to implement significant projects for the business. Responsibilities Lead and execute capital and engineering projects from concept to completion. Define project scope, develop budgets, track timelines, and ensure deliverables are met. Manage vendor relationships including selection, negotiation, and performance oversight. Drive design modifications, layout changes, and process improvements to support plant operations. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to align on project goals. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain schedules and cost targets. Prepare and deliver project reports and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders. Qualifications 7+ years of experience managing engineering/manufacturing projects end-to-end. Proven success leading capital and technical projects in a manufacturing setting. Strong experience with project scope development, budgeting, and vendor management. Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and communicate with leadership. Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
